Where to begin… Well, right from the word go Andrew has been an absolute star! We met at a wedding fair, he was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. Andrew was able to recommend places that would be best to go for our honeymoon, based on listening to our thoughts as to what we enjoy doing as a couple (sight seeing, relaxing by the beach, going on excursions etc.) When it came to booking our honeymoon, Andrew was happy to meet us in person so that we could discuss our requirements and ask any questions before committing to anything, we found this particularly useful. Since we booked our honeymoon, we have had all the information required including our tickets that were personally delivered by Andrew himself. We are also very thankful for our card and gift, it was very kind of you to do so 🙂
As for the honeymoon itself, Mauritius is absolutely stunning! It was exactly how we imagined our honeymoon destination would be and more! The hotel we stayed at (Trou aux biches) was perfect in every way! The beach was beautiful and the staffs’ attention to detail and customer service was fantastic, we couldn’t fault them on anything, they were all very attentive and would always greet us with a smile no matter how early or late it was! As for the island, there were many places to explore, just some of the places we visited were: île aux cerfs, where we took a catamaran trip to explore the east side of the island and experienced parasailing and we even saw some wild monkeys! Casela leisure park, which is basically a zoo with a twist, this is where we experienced zip-wiring across canyons and could walk with lions! An undersea walk, here we could walk along the bottom of the sea and feed tropical fish out of our own hands! Also, we saw many other breathtaking views including waterfalls, black river gorges and volcanic craters. So much to squeeze in, I could keep on going! There are still some places we would like to visit and so we have decided that we would like to go back for one of anniversaries, any excuse hey!
