I first saw Andrew at a wedding fair and instantly loved the concept of the gift list being things for your honeymoon, I decided then and there that that’s what I was going to do! I went home and told my fiancé who was a bit dubious but after explaining the system to him and showing him online he was also hooked on the idea. Andrew had given me some holiday brochures so we had a look through them to get an idea of where we wanted to go and then we spoke to Andrew who helped us narrow down our options and finally pick a destination (or 2!) as we ended up going for a multi-centre trip with Kuoni. Andrew was very patient with us during the booking process and we quickly finalised our plans and booked. We then chose the items to go on our gift list and Andrew was very accommodating with changing wording and prices on things (I’m very picky!) and the gift list cards were ordered in time for us to give them out with our invitations.
A couple of weeks before we left we received our travel documents which were all self explanatory but Andrew still went over all the details with us to make sure we knew what we were doing. Just before we went we got the money back that had been paid into our gift list which really helped with our honeymoon.
Our flights and transfers all went according to plan and there was always a rep on hand to help out at each stage. We had an amazing time in Sri Lanka and saw a bit of culture and the elephants we wanted to then we headed to the luxury and relaxation of the Maldives. Wow! We loved every second and would recommend the whole process to anyone getting married, it really made sense as we were able to go for the holiday of a lifetime at a fraction of the cost due to the gift list.
