We met Andrew at a wedding fayre in Ipswich about a year before we were getting married. He was very professional and gave us lots of information. He spoke about a gift list so that our guests could contribute directly to our honeymoon. This was a great idea, as we had already been living together for a couple of years, so didn’t need anything for the house and it seemed much nicer than cash in a card. We met with him and discussed what ideas we had for our honeymoon. It was great to talk to someone that knew so much about so many different locations. We decided on Bali with a stop off at Singapore for a couple of nights on the way out. With me being a teacher we were limited to when we could go and he knew the best places for our timing. We then chose the different options for our gift list, contributions towards flights, cocktails on the beach, different excursions etc. Our guests loved it and so many made comments about how it was really nice to give a particular gift to our trip. Every time someone contributed we received an email so we knew who had given what. We received so much more than we were expecting!
Our honeymoon wasn’t until 18 months after we got married as we were moving house too and Andrew was fine with that, we kept in contact and started to book the excursions and get excited about the trip! He even gave suggestions such as a lounge at the airport which was a perfect way to start the honeymoon, and something we would never have thought of.
The honeymoon was fantastic and so easy, all the transfers were sorted and the hotels were pure luxury. The areas he had sorted for us were perfect and we got to see very different areas of Bali. When we were out there, we had the issues of the earthquakes in nearby Lombok. We were in contact with Andrew via email when we were in Singapore and he was already in contact with Asia World working out if we needed to change our plans. Once landed in Bali we were transported to their offices and met the advisor that Andrew had been in contact with, he advised us to change our plans and to not visit the Gilli Islands as planned. He would sort somewhere else for us to go for those few days. It was all arranged for us so we didn’t have to worry. Andrew was fantastic with communication bearing in mind we were 7 hours ahead too! He was also in contact with my parents as they were worried too. When the earthquakes continued we did worry and got in touch with Andrew to see if there was an option to come home if needed, again he was fantastic and researched all our different options. You never know how good someone is until you need them. We decided against coming home and moved onto our alternative accommodation which was fantastic and pure luxury just like the rest, it was a good compromise. Our final destination was Seminyak which again was fantastic and an amazing experience just like the rest of our holiday. Everything worked so well and this was all down to Andrew, who was fantastic throughout and I would highly recommend him for holidays and honeymoons. We will definitely be using him again for our next trip away!
