Mauritius and South Africa Honeymoon September 2023
We first met Andrew at a wedding fair at Trinity Park in Ipswich. We had a rough idea of what we wanted our honeymoon experience to be and after briefly speaking with Andrew we knew that AMR Travel was the company we needed to use.
Andrew perfectly tailored a two-week honeymoon for us with a relaxing start in Mauritius then onto an adventure week safari in South Africa. His knowledge of both areas was superb, and his personal experience of the countries made us relaxed and excited to honeymoon there. His great knowledge also meant he was able to give us valuable insight into what excursions we should book that we would enjoy and down to what tips we should be expecting to pay the staff at the various locations we were staying at and visiting. Andrew provided us with a full itinerary sheet which was so valuable to us as this included transfer information along with internal flights and even adding information to where the cash machines are within the airports. This is the extra mile that Andrew went for us and that attention to detail made our honeymoon so much less stressful and for that we are very grateful.
Working with Andrew leading up to the honeymoon was a pleasure and through some zoom calls and emails we managed to easily map out our honeymoon experience and Andrew took care of everything.
Andrew has built an excellent Panndorah gift list app to go alongside the honeymoon which works easily for guests to contribute to different parts of the holiday and track our experience whilst away. We had a lot of positive feedback about this app from our guests and majority used this to gift us for our wedding. The app also provides invaluable information regarding the documents, Andrew uploaded all our travel documents/ itineraries, help sheets and any other useful information to make our honeymoon seamless and stress free.
The holiday itself was a week in an adult only hotel in Mauritius which proved to be as relaxing and luxurious as Andrew had explained, we were well looked after. Beautiful beaches and excellent service at the hotel and we took a few day trips out to explore the island as well. After this we flew to South Africa, two nights in a cottagey accommodation with a full day tour and elephant interaction. Which then takes us to our final stop which blew us away. If you go on safari, you must visit Savanna Private Game Reserve. What an incredible experience to get up close with the animals and beautiful lodges to stay in where the animals quite literally walk past your plunge pool to go to the nearest watering hole. ilities, service and inventive evening entertainment/dinner arrangements. Just WOW.
In conclusion, we cannot thank Andrew at AMR travel enough for creating such a perfect experience for our honeymoon. We would recommend anyone uses Andrew if you would like a special, well organised and tailor-made holiday. We will definitely be using his service again.
