Dubai & Mauritius Honeymoon 2016
Andrew was a god send when it came to planning our honeymoon! He was so helpful and all the advice given made choosing our destination so easy. We met him at a local wedding fair and booked an appointment a few weeks later. We were undecided between Maldives and Mauritius but with Andrew’s knowledge and experience we went with Mauritius. As our flights included a stop over in Dubai we decided to add 3 nights at the beginning of the honeymoon. Our transfers were all arranged as well so we had nothing to worry about and everything was left in Andrew’s capable hands.
Andrew recommended some lovely hotels in Dubai but we had always had our eyes set on The Atlantis, which he was happy to get prices for and added it to our itinerary. We had a lovely ocean view room with a balcony and the staff made us feel so welcome and even gave us a little gift in celebration of our marriage. As we were only there for 3 nights so we crammed so much in with all the sightseeing and activities. Again Andrew gave us tips on what we should pre-book and book whilst we were out there, and things we must do like the dune buggys in the desert! We could have easily stayed there longer and would defiantly plan to go back again in the future.
Next, the main event! We stayed in the Trou Aux Biches Resort in Mauritius. Words cannot describe how beautiful this resort is! Even being greeted with cocktails and fruit made us feel special. Our suite, which was upgraded to a beachfront senior suite was amazing. We had our own private pool and were only a few feet away from the beach. It was paradise!
The food at the resort was incredible and we had the best spa treatments there too. For the activities we booked a catamaran cruise, a day excursion around to various parts of Mauritius, where we saw some beautiful places & also had the chance to swim with wild dolphins. Again, these were all suggested by Andrew, so putting together our online gift list was so easy.
The online gift list was such a hit with our guests and they loved being able to contribute & choose activities/food/drinks for us to enjoy. It was helpful to us as finding the words to ask for gifts from your guests is a painful job but with the honeymoon cards that Andrew offers, another job was ticked off!.
Andrew, thank you again for everything you have done. It truly was an unforgettable honeymoon and we will cherish the memories forever
