We are incredibly sad to have returned home today after an absolutely unbelievable honeymoon. Thank you so much for your recommendations, it really could not have been more perfect.
We were upgraded in Mauritius due to a sprinkler outside the room waking us at 4am and they put us into one of the beachfront rooms with plunge pool, it was gorgeous!
Cybele was lovely, very cosy and relaxing, sadly we had terrible rain so we did not see very much on our panorama tour but we hope to go back and see it again one day. The food was incredible!
And then just as you said, you saved the best until last…Savanna was out of this world! We fell in love with it and did not want to leave….. oh Andrew it really was just magical, the early starts are worth it! I could do those drives everyday and never get tired of them. As we had a lot of rain in the first three or four days in south Africa, we saw the bush start to change before our eyes with green shoots everywhere when we left and colour springing up everywhere. We would love to see it in the summer full of colour and with all of the birds back, another reason to return! We saw pretty much everything on our game drives apart from cheetah and black rhino – we have some great photos! The staff were fantastic as were the rooms, food and service. We spoke to many other guests who are repeat visitors who said that they would not go anywhere else due to the fantastic time they have there. We will certainly be returning one day and we are very keen to see some more of the country too so we will be in touch when we have financially recovered from the wedding to plan that!
We were really impressed with the gift list service, it was lovely and very exciting to receive the emails to confirm who had made a gift and what they had gifted. It also allowed us to easily keep on top of our record of what people had contributed in order to make our thank yous. We liked the way that the gift list page was personal to our trip and the photo and wording made it feel more special than a standard wedding gift list. Finally, we really loved receiving the list of comments from our guests to read whilst we were away. We printed these off and read through them on a sun bed in Mauritius. I would definitely recommend that any couple looking to request contributions towards their honeymoon as a wedding gift uses the gift list service, not only does it make life so straightforward with not having to accumulate cash or cheques, it allows people to treat you to an experience you may not have otherwise considered. Andrew you were incredibly helpful and on hand at all times with a very prompt response to any queries, even when we emailed from Mauritius requesting a private transfer upon arrival at Johannesburg!
We really were blown away with the whole two weeks and can’t thank you enough for your guidance, you delivered what we had hoped for and much much more. Once again, thank you for your help with all of the planning and support throughout the process. We will not hesitate to recommend your services to friends and family.
