Seychelles August 2022
We met Andrew at a wedding fayre at Trinity Park and immediately felt confident that he would be able to help us plan a fantastic honeymoon. Andrew was very supportive throughout the planning process and we had multiple zoom calls, as well as regular email contact to help establish plans for our dream honeymoon. We decided on the Seychelles and Andrew quickly put together a selection of options for us at varying prices. We also decided to use Andrew’s online ‘Gift List’ app, rather than receiving physical wedding gifts/cash from guests. Andrew quickly put together an extensive selection of gifts and trips for our guests to purchase towards our honeymoon. We loved the format of the list and had many positive comments from guests about how easy it was to use. This also allowed guests to feel part of our honeymoon by buying us experiences, rather than household possessions that we may already own.
We loved our honeymoon in the Seychelles and everything ran smoothly thanks so Andrew’s planning and preparation. Andrew provided us with physical copies of our documentation, as well as these being accessible through the gift list. Andrew suggested that we start our honeymoon with real luxury at Denis Island, which is a tiny, beautiful private island, where you are treated like royalty. The staff were incredible and it really was a special place, despite the weather not being as expected in August. Unfortunately, we did have some rainy days, however we still managed to explore and enjoy ourselves. The island is full of wildlife and we really enjoyed seeing and feeding the native giant tortoises.
We moved to Carana Beach on Mahe for the remainder of our honeymoon, where thankfully the weather improved! We had a beautiful room, which we upgraded (thanks to Andrew’s suggestion) so we had our own plunge pool on our terrace. This upgrade was added onto our gift list, which guests were able to contribute towards on our behalf. We enjoyed scuba diving, boat trips to other islands and plenty of fantastic food and drinks during our stay in the Seychelles. We have no regrets in our choice of location for our honeymoon and appreciate all of Andrew’s help in allowing us to make such amazing memories together in such beautiful places.
