We are back home and back to work (sigh!).
We had a fantastic time thanks, it seemed like a nice long 2 weeks also which was great.
We had a 5 ½ hour delay on the way out, but I prefer they find an issue with the plane at ground level rather than 36000 feet!
From as soon as we arrived at the hotel to when we left it was idyllic.
The hotel was perfect, the service was first class along with every other aspect.
The hotel was only 40% occupied during the first week, which made it even better!
The only negative feedback I can give (which is absolutely nothing to do with the service you provided) was that the Maurtourco rep was not great and their trips etc were poorly thought out. It may have been a blessing in disguise however as in the end we got a car from the hotels taxi pool (as you suggested) and did the trips we wanted, the driver was really good, giving us great information on the island, it worked our cheaper than going through Maurtourco also.
Your assistance was key to us having a such a great time, we definitely would not have got the expertise and experience from a high street travel agent in the same way you were able to provide both to give us some great choices and ultimately a fantastic honeymoon.
The advise on when to book was also key to getting a better price which allowed us to stay longer than we perhaps would have if we booked immediately.
We travelled to the southeast of the island during a trip and it was massively windy, as you said it would be, the difference in weather between there and the area the hotel was huge, so another great call on the area to stay in.
I am sure we will get in touch when we next plan a holiday, whilst it will not be as high end as the honeymoon, perhaps you can assist us with some suggestions again!
